Maria is survived by her four children; Mary Cruz, Nilda Cruz, Ismael Cruz and Alfonso Cruz, three sisters; Josefina, Julia and Mercedes Nieves, one brother; Miguel Cruz, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Maria's life will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 2-4pm at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave.,East Hartford, CT. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
