Marilyn J Pillion, 70, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. She was born born on January 22, 1955 in East Hartford a daughter of the late Robert and Josephine (Pollicito) Pillion. Marilyn graduated from the University of Hartford, worked for Southern New England Telephone as an engineer for more than 30 years and was active in politics with the town of South Windsor in 1990's.
She is survived by two brothers; Robert and Jeffrey and a close friend Judith Hickey.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave, East Hartford, CT, 06108. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at St. Mary Church, 15 Maplewood Ave., East Hartford. Burial will take place at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield, CT.
