

Mark Michael Wojnilo 37, of Tolland and formerly of East Hartford passed away on Tuesday June 14, 2011 at his home. He was born April 20, 1974 in Hartford son of the late Joseph Wojnilo who passed in 1999 and Maria (Gorka) Wojnilo. He was raised in East Hartford and was a partial owner of ANWO Machine & Tool Co. Inc. in East Hartford which was started by his parents in 1974. He was an avid fisherman enjoying shark fishing in Key West with his sister and Tom. He was a music lover and also played the guitar, his favorite bands being Ramstein and Led Zepplin and his favorite team was the Boston Red Sox. He loved traveling to Martha’s Vineyard and spending time with his sister Malgosia and his nephew and niece and also enjoyed in the last couple of years traveling to Europe. He took a lot of pride and enjoyed cruising in his 73’ Plymouth Barracuda.
He is survived by his loving mother Maria Wojnilo of East Hartford, his sister Margie “Malgosia” Thompson and her children Bobby and Sara Thompson all of Martha’s Vineyard, MA: brother Tom Russo and his wife Betsy and their children Michael and Joseph all of South Windsor: a special aunt Leokadia Wojnilo of Hartford: his god children Michael Russo and Faith Rosario: and his beloved dogs Cyrus and Caesar.
Family and friends are invited on Monday June 20th at 8:15 am to the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 am in St. Cyril & Methodius Church, 55 Charter Oak Ave., Hartford. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours are Sunday June 19th from 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
