Mary Christina Tully (Murphy) of Ellington, Connecticut passed away on Sunday, June 15th, 2025 at the age of 76. She was born on February 4th, 1949 in Blarney, County Cork, Ireland and moved to Connecticut, USA where she grew up. She was a graduate of East Catholic High School, earned a bachelor’s degree and several professional certificates from Cornell University. She was a retiree of the Travelers Insurance Company Hartford, CT. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Cornelius and Ellen Murphy. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Tully, her two daughters, Ellen and Mary Elizabeth Tully, her grandchildren, Jadzea Tully, Celeste and Xandros Cruz, Adrian Gomez Tully, Xavier and Izaiah Gomez, and her great grandchildren, Micah and Maci Torchia.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the mausoleum at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in East Hartford, CT on Monday, June 23rd at 11:00am.
