Paryse Fracasso

Paryse A. Fracasso (Weeks), 88, of Hartford, CT, died at her home early in the morning Thursday (December 18, 2014.) She had been a resident of Hartford since 2011, coming from Naples, FL where she retired with her husband, John, of 52 years. She was born on February 5, 1926 to Earl Weeks and Rachel Brin Weeks. Paryse was the oldest of six. She graduated from the Fanny Allen school of Practical Nursing where she earned her RN in 1948. She then began a career as nurse when she met her future husband, Dr. John M. Fracasso. They eventually moved to New Britain, CT, where they began their family and ultimately moved to Glastonbury, CT, where they resided for 30 years and raised their four children. Payrse enjoyed daily crossword puzzles and was an avid golfer throughout her entire life, earning a hole in one (6/22/1999.) She enjoyed spending time with her family and is survived by her four children: Marylou and her husband, William of Naples, FL; a son, John of Glastonbury; a son, Anthony and his wife Marylou of Melrose, MA; and a son, Paul and his wife, Carol of Charlotte, NC. She also leaves a sister Simone Coyne of Bennington, VT and seven beloved grandchildren, William, Christopher and Matthew Costello, Paul and Steven Fracasso, and Rachel and Jenna Fracasso. Family and friends are invited, Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 for an 11AM Memorial Service being held in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main Street, Glastonbury. There are no calling hours.
