

Rex Roland Noble 57 lifelong sole mate of Beth Noble of Coventry and formerly of East Hartford, passed away on Friday March 11, 2011 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Rex was born February 24, 1954 in Hartford son of the late Melvin W. “Rex” and Estelle (Koropatkin) Noble. He graduated from Penney High School and went right into the construction business with his father, working for Nutmeg Home Improvement. His greatest passion was Salt Water Fishing which lead him all over the US and abroad. For the last twenty six years he traveled and camped at Race Point in Cape Cod enjoying surfcasting. He had a boat in Mystic, and also enjoyed traveling to the Florida Keys and Costa Rica to chase fish.
Along with his best friend of 37 years and wife of 28 years Beth, he leaves his three siblings Lynda Noble Byrne and her husband James of Portland, CT, Deborah Noble Steinmiller and her husband Karl of Delray Beach, FL and Scott Noble of East Hartford: mother-in-law Jennie Smith of East Hartford: sister-in-law and her husband Barbara Smith and Joseph Monette of Tolland: three nieces and their families Kelli-Marie and John Vallieres, their children Kyle and Eric of East Haddam, Jessica and David Labbadia, daughter Bianca of Portland and Melissa Emmons of Boynton Beach, FL: special friends and godparents Beverly and Bill Carson of Manchester: their dog Dakota and cat Snowflake: and numerous cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited Tuesday March 15th from 4:30-7:30 pm to the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, for visitation prior to the 7:30 pm service. A Sea Scattering service will be held later at the family’s convenience. FISH ON!
