Steve Klobukowski of Salem, CT, formerly of East Hartford, passed away on August 30, 2024 at the age of 69 after a short hospital stay. He was born in July 1955 in Hartford CT. He grew up in East Hartford, CT. He attended Providence College graduating in 1977 and also received a Master’s Degree from the Hartford Graduate Center. Steve began his career at Hamilton Standard. He also worked at the Colchester Water Company, at the State of Connecticut in the Water Supply Division, and the Hazardville Water Company. He also ran his own water company business later in life. Steve’s passions included hunting, fishing, and sailing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Tibbals Klobukowski and Julius Klobukowski. He is survived by his sister Nancy Rosenkranz and her husband George, a niece, cousins and dear friend, Pamela Butterfield and many friends.
A graveside service was held at the Silver Lane Cemetery on September 7, 2024 by family and close friends. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Steve’s honor to Duck’s Unlimited.
