Theresa L. Paradis

Theresa L. (Lachance) Paradis, 82, of South Windsor, died Wednesday January 11, 2012. She was born in Waterville, Maine, a daughter of the late Joseph and Blanche (Letourneau) Lachance. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was actively involved in her family and treasured every moment she spent with them. She loved flower gardening, cross stitching, and crafts. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Her husband Lionel G. “Lee” Paradis, predeceased her in 2006. She is survived by her son Roland Paradis and his wife Joni of South Windsor, her daughter Janet Concatelli of New Britain, her brother Roland Lachance and his wife Colette of Winslow, ME, her sister in law Juliette Bisson of Lewiston, ME, her grandchildren Sarah and John Lacy, Andrew and Carrie Concatelli, Brendan and Elizabeth Paradis and Chandler Paradis, her two great granddaughters Alexandra and Elia Lacy and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday January 13, 2011 4-7PM and Saturday from 9-10:30AM. Her service will take place at 10:30AM on Saturday, all at Benjamin J. Callahan Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford. Burial will immediately follow in Hillside Cemetery in East Hartford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
