

Yojana DeArce, 32, of East Hartford, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Hartford Hospital. Born on January 9, 1981 she was a true inspiration of life. She graduated from East Hartford High in 2004 and worked for HARC for 7 years where she enjoyed the work and the people she worked with. Yojana’s son was a major focus in her life and she relished spending time with him. She loved her mother, Maria and their bond and devotion to each other was noted by all who knew them. She loved arts & crafts and gave her creations as an expression of love to her family and friends. Her entire family treasures the memories of Yojana’s stories, smile and loving spirit. Her mother and family wish to extend their most sincere and heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Patricia DeFusco and staff for providing loving and patient service to her throughout her illness. From Yojana's behalf and the people most closest to her we will want to send our most and deepest gratitude, for all the support that you have inspired upon us. You have not only been there threw terrible times but threw our good times. For that we are very grateful and may god bless every single one of you.

Friends and family are invited to gather for calling hours on Thursday, Feb. 7th, from 4-7pm at the Benjamin J. Callahan Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 8:30AM on Friday, Feb. 8th followed by her Celebration of Life Service to be held at 9:30AM in First Baptist Church, 240 Hillstown Rd., Manchester.
