Barbara graduated from Haslett High School where she met the love of her life, Daniel E. Foote; they had four children and settled in Lansing, MI.
Barbara retired from Sears after 30 years of service. She enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and spending time with her children and grandchildren at their cottage at Crystal Lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Foote; parents, Harry and Gladys (Johnson) Skaggs; two brothers-in-law and great- granddaughter, Katlynn. She is survived by her children; Michael (Martha) Foote, Debbie (Stan) Klingbeil, James (Danene) Foote, and Carol (Mark) Kozlowski; sister, Sharon Simpson and sisters-in-law, Joanne Foote and Delores Foote, many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday, November 16, 11:00 a.m., Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing.
Interment will follow at Foote Cemetery, Williamston.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home and one hour prior to service.
