Lansing
Passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the age of 79. He was born in Gleason, TN to Joe H. and Alta (Lomax) Beasley August 15, 1934. Bobby was a resident of Lansing since 1955 and worked as a body shop manager in the automotive industry for many years. He was a lover of the out of doors, especially deer hunting, snowmobiling, riding motorcycles, and enjoying classic cars.
He is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Janice; daughters Shelly (David) Cleeves and Pam (Jeff) Gilmour; son Robert (Diane) Beasley; step-children Cindi (Larry) Pearson, Thomas (Donna) Foster, Lisa Thelen and Bill (Vicki) Cox; thirteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, brothers Ken (Donna) Beasley and Jerry (Kathy) Beasley and sister Marsha Lathrop.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2013, 12:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Contributions may be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, P. O. Box 30480, Lansing, MI 48909 in memory of Bobby.
