Dorothy “Dot” Archambeau, loving mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 93 on March 22, 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born March 19, 1922 in Bemidji, MN to Obed and Gladys (Bell) Sandven. Dot loved all animals, especially her dogs, and nature in general. She enjoyed golf, art and playing bridge. Spending time with her granddaughters was always her favorite pastime. Her kindness, generosity, and love of her family and friends will be remembered by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Thomas Oliver Archambeau in 2002; and 2 sisters, Helen Freye and Virginia “Bunny” Korndorfer. Surviving are her son, Tom (Jill) Archambeau of Okemos; 2 granddaughters, Kristin Archambeau of Manhattan, NY and Stephanie Archambeau of East Lansing.

Funeral Services will be held 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Ever Rest Funeral Home, 1783 Keating Avenue, Muskegon, MI. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
