Age 81, died February 20, 2012. Born, July 5, 1930, in Detroit, MI. Genevieve taught in the Detroit public school system and later retired from the State of Michigan, Department of Commerce. Surviving are 2 sons, William J. (Kathryn) and John D. (Christy); 5 grandchildren, Kathryn M., William R., Jessica R., Adam and Elizaveta; and 1 brother, William M. Roccos (Cecilia). Visitation will be at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River, East Lansing on Thursday, March 1 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and on Friday, March 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at St. John Church & Student Center, 327 MAC, East Lansing on Friday, March 2 at 2:00 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to the charity of their choice in memory of Genevieve.
