Georgianna Kuhn

Georgianna Kuhn, age 96 of Lansing, Michigan, passed away on Thursday August 16, 2018. Georgianna was born to Charles and Ruth (Clark) Killoran on March 10, 1922 in Morris, Minnesota. She married the love of her life, Walter Kuhn in 1944 and was proud to say she was married for 66 years until he passed away in 2010.

One of her favorite all time "jobs" in life was to take care of her family. She loved being a housewife, taking care of her sons and husband. Georgianna took pride in her home as well, and she loved to clean.

One of her favorite past times was to take rides in cars to basically people watch and listen to her favorite tunes on the radio. She always had a big smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes when she was on the open road.

She enjoyed playing the violin in high school. Georgianna loved to listen to music and some of her favorites were any kind of gospel music and Glenn Miller.

Not only was she busy taking care of her home and family but she found time to be a Sunday school teacher at Colonial Village Baptist Church.

Preceding Georgianna in death were her parents; her loving husband, Walter; brother, Clark Killoran and sister, Josephine Riker.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Frederick W. (Linda) Kuhn, David R. (Ruthi) Kuhn, Dennis B. (Cindy) Kuhn and James D. (Laura Bergman) Kuhn; seven grandchildren; five great-grand children and brother, Keith Killoran.

A visitation for Georgianna will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI 48823.

A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM with a 1 hour prior visitation at Colonial Village Baptist Church, 2010 Boston Blvd., Lansing, MI 48910.

A committal service will occur after the service at Evergreen Cemetery, 1709 E Mt Hope Ave., Lansing, MI 48910.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gideon Bible, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800.
