Born April 24, 1923 to Edward and Anna (Sprout) Sweet in Grand Ledge, MI, died July 9, 2011 at the age of 88. Jackie was an insurance clerk in the health care field and a charter member of Towar Hart Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest E. Baker and son, Rodney. Surviving are four sons; Ernest (Bonnie), Steven (Sandra), Fred (Carol) and Bruce David; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Marion (Ervin) Smith and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be held Thursday, July 14, 10:00 a.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 1730 East Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI with Rev. Kenneth L. Ridge officiating.
