Janet Kay Duty

This world was blessed to have an Angel walking amongst us. Her guidance, her support, her wisdom and her love will be cherished for our lifetimes. She will be missed but never forgotten.

Janet married her husband Rush Duty on June 18, 1977 and they were married for 32 years. She is preceeded in death by her husband and parents. Surviving to cherish her memory is her brother Herbert, Jr.(Marilyn) Gibbs; her sons, Mark (Beth) Thomas, Keith (Peggee) Duty, Ken (Jennifer) Duty, and Kevin Duty; her daughter, Sheryl (Jerry) Hulet; grandchildren, Michael (Ali) Thomas, Kyle Thomas, Kristen (Anthony) McDaniel, Mitch Duty, Becca Duty, Brandon Duty, Ashley (Jon) Stricker , Tiffany (Benjamin) Owens and Tyler Hulet and great-grandchildren, Lillian and Colton Owens.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 1, 2018, 11:00 a.m., Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Avenue, East Lansing, MI.

Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bath, MI.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 28, 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service.
