Joyce J. Irwin

Joyce J. Irwin, age 87, died December 30, 2017 in Okemos, MI. She was born May 14, 1930 in Lake Odessa, Michigan to Delbert and Bessie (Hyde) Meyers. Preceded in death by her parents and husband Don. Joyce’s family was everything to her; they were her life. Joyce was very blessed and excited to welcome her first great granddaughter, Addison. Surviving are son, Michael (Jeanne) Irwin, daughter, Karen (Lowell) Spotts, and son, Steven Irwin; grandchildren, Michael (Sara) Irwin II, Matthew Irwin, Zachary Spotts and Whitney (Chris) Spotts; great granddaughter, Addison James Irwin, “A.J.”; brother, Chuck (Rosie) Meyers; sisters, Barbara (Don) Brinningstaull, Darlien Crosby; several nieces and nephews to cherish her memory. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Avenue, East Lansing, Michigan with Rev. Darrell Neves officiating. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home Wednesday, January 3, 2018, from 4-7 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing, MI.
