Juanita Marie Brown of Okemos, MI, born in Missouri February 19, 1926 to Carrie Robinson, passed away March 18, 2013 at the age of 87. She was a cashier for Quality Dairy for many years and also was an active member and volunteer for the American Legion Haslett Post. Surviving is her daughter, Virginia Gail "Cookie" Fitch; six grandchildren, David Beam, Anthony Beam, Nicholas Rosales, Riki Rosales, Thomas Jefferson Chavis and Jessica Fitch and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her very, very best friend Florence whom she considered her sister. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 25, 2013, 4:00 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
