Kyoko retired in 2013 from Michigan State University after 32 years of Service.
She is survived by her children Christopher, Christian, and Maria (fiancé Mike). Kyoko is also survived by her two dogs Riley, Christina, her brothers Mitsunori Arai, Sadatoshi Arai, and sisters Sachiko Arai, and Satsuki Arai who reside in Tokyo, Japan, as well as many other friends and loved ones. Kyoko loved working at Michigan State University and with the students, faculty, and staff. She also had a passion for animals and wildlife and regularly donated to Tiger Creek Wildlife Refuge in Tyler, TX. http://tigercreek.org/
