Marian F. Nolen Stickle

East Lansing

Age 92, passed away December 22, 2011. She was born in Muskegon, MI the daughter of Martin C. and Nina G. Nolen. After graduating from Olivet College, she taught school in Olivet for several years. Marian devoted her life to her family, enjoyment of flowers and love of Suttons Bay. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph L. Stickle, parents, brother Dr. John G. Nolen and nephew, Michael S. Nolen.

Marian is survived by her daughters Barbara Stickle, Mill Valley, CA and Nancy (Robert) Russell, Williamston; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Savage, Howell and Todd (Bridget) Russell, Williamston and much loved great-grandchildren Kylee, Madison, Alyssa and Natalie Savage and Alexis and Emmalee Russell. She leaves behind her brother Dr. Arthur (Sally) Nolen, Hillsboro, OR, aunt Helen N. Peterman, and nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Burcham Hills Retirement Community and Great Lakes Caring Hospice for their loving care. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing.
