Raymond Leroy Reed, age 91, of Haslett, Michigan passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024. Raymond was born on January 18, 1933 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Alfred and Natalie Reed, and was one of three children.
After high school, Raymond went of to serve in the Naval Reserves. Later in life, he worked for FD Hayes Electric company in Lansing, then bought the buisness R & L Septic Service, which he ran for over 30 years.
Raymond is predeceased by his loving wife, Geraldine Reed, children Reina Mazzoni and Randy Reed, sister Kathleen "Kitty" Backus, step-sons Dan Beaubier and Damon Beaubier, brother-in-law Lenny Brown, and grandson Troy Mazzoni.
Raymond is survived by his sister Barbara Brown, brother-in-law Leon Backus, son Robert Reed (Dorina), son-in-law Cliff Mazzoni, step-daughter Deanna Jones (Rick), and 13 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
