Robert retired with 35 years from Michigan State University as a Director of Internal Audit. He had a passion for golf and MSU sports. He was a proud grandfather and great grandfather and loved to spend time with his grandchildren. Robert is deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Robert was the beloved husband of Darlene Wenner; loving father of David (late Christine) Wenner and Michael (Beth) Wenner; step-father of Brian Gray and Carol Dreps; cherished grandfather of seven; great grandfather of four with one on the way in June; dear brother of Mary Jorgensen; and special furry cat companion, Inky.
A visitation for Robert will be held Friday, April 21, 2023 from 9:30am until the time of the memorial service at 11:00am at St. Luke Lutheran Church 5589 Van Atta Rd. Haslett, MI 48840.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Capital Area Humane Society or St. Luke Lutheran Church in Robert's name.
