Robin Nelson, born November 21,1952 sadly passed away July 29, 2024. Rob (Butch), is survived by his wife Rita Nelson, and two sons Garry Lenk, John Nelson, and daughter Kelly Jones. Robin lived in the Lansing area for most of his life, until he joined the Army and served a proud 4 years. After his Honorable service in the Army, Rob went to work for the U.S. Postal service. After 25 years of service, Rob retired and spent his golden years going to casinos, riding his Harley Davidson, and torching the tops of worm heads on the golf course. Rob loved his grandchildren and loved to spoil them all whenever he could.
Services will be held for Rob on August 16th, at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek, Michigan at 10:30 a.m.
