Was born in Owosso, MI, October 11, 1919 and passed away September 28, 2012 at the age of 92. Ronn loved his wife Beatrice more than anything in the world; He loved his family, his God and Jesus Christ and his country. Ronn and Bea were married for 69 years; the reason was that they both loved and respected each other. Ronn was very active in sports and loved to fish and hunt. Ronn belonged to many organizations during his life time. Ronn has joined his God and Jesus Christ and many friends and family members. He bids his friends and family farewell and wishes you to be happy. Ronn is survived by his wife Beatrice; son Ron (Tina) Reed; daughters Danna (Mike) Dixon and Pamela (Paul) Ditchoff; sister Ione Williams; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2012, 11 A.M. at Haslett Community Church, 1427 Haslett Road, Haslett, MI 48840 with Rev. Kurt Kirchoff officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 2, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Okemos. In lieu of flowers, Ronn requested donations be made to The Salvation Army, 525 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Lansing, MI 48912, Haslett Community Church, or Greater Lansing Sports Hall of Fame in c/o the Lansing Center.
