Ruth B Brown

Born January 22, 1926 in Lansing, Michigan to Ernest and Dorothy Bogert, passed away March 6, 2013, at the age of 87. Ruth was married to her husband, Myron Brown for 60 years. She was a charter member at Eastminster Presbyterian Church and a member of the Great Lakes Lighthouse Keepers Association. She loved bird watching and bicycling. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband in 2010 and her sister, Marjorie Haviland in 2009. She is survived by 5 nieces, Lori (John) Kelley, Jody (Warren) Kimble, Patricia (John) Ludwig, Frances Simon and Virginia Brown; nephews, James (Sherry McNally) Haviland, Richard (Lisa) Haviland and Michael (Donna) Soule; brother-in-law, Richard “Dick” Haviland; special friends, Karl (Sandra) Bartels, Camala Riessinger and Nancy Ridley and several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Eastminster Presbyterian Church 1315 Abbott Rd, East Lansing, MI.
