I just learned today of Sandy's passing. He was a good friend and we spent a lot of time together back in the day, riding motorcycles, hanging out and riding around in his Jeep. He was a good guy with a big heart and a great sense of humor. I'll miss him.

Is this the Sandy Stoddard that went to East Lansing High? If so...He and I hung out a lot in school.. I'm so sorry for your loss... I just found out about it.

Hi.  Perhaps this is the same 'Sandy' I knew as a 1976 graduate of East Lansing High.  He was intense.  Often called out as "Stoddard"  I presumed him to be adult and competitive.  He was a nice guy and it is sad he is gone.

sometimes when people pass, others talk about a hole left in life. when this man went, the world we live in has actually become lesser somehow. we already had too few of his rare type here as it was. the days of common sense and living each day as we do or should hasnt changed, but having him to consult with is left to using prior suggestions and applying them to current situations. i am one of the fortunate ones who was left with years and years and several examples to go by and for that i am grateful. i have uncles, but only one uncle sandy. im sure i will never be the same, but because of all he taught me in the last 44 yrs, i will be even better. i will do my best to pass on all of the valuable wisdom, keep a smile on my face, keep playing music, keep my knees in the breeze, and keep my chin up aiming for the blue and praying for the green. i love you more than i can type and will see you on the other side. brent hurst (little brother)

So sorry to hear of Sandy's passing. What a great man he was, always kind. I remember him being one of the friendliest boys in the neighborhood growing up. It was a treat getting to work with him at the same organization too. Sending Prayers to his family for peace through this difficult time.
