He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Priyanka, and two wonderful sons, Anshuman and Aryaman, who will all miss him for eternity. He was an adored grandson of the late Jagannath (Phool Kumari) Pathak and the late Dhan Bihari (Geeta) Pandey; the first-born son of Gupteshwar & Shanti Pathak, cherished son-in-law of the late Swarajya M. Ranjan & Mrs. Urmila Ranjan, respected brother-in-law of Abhishek Ranjan, a loving brother to Aashish and Vandana and a large group of wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins.
Born in India, Dr. Pathak attended the Kent School, majored in electrical engineering at Purdue University and attended medical school at St. George’s University. A practicing radiologist for 22 years, he worked in private practice, hospital and academic settings. He thoroughly enjoyed his work both as an engineer and radiologist and was well-liked by all who knew him. Dr. Pathak was known for his kind and gentle nature. He enjoyed spending time with his family and together they shared many memories watching movies and NFL games, playing tennis, and traveling, particularly to the Hawaiian Islands. He was an excellent STEM coach and took great pleasure in coaching his son’s highly ranked Flight and Helicopter events. While he is no longer with us, he will forever live on in our hearts.
