Shirley J Sheffer

Born May 5, 1927 in Flint, Michigan to Glenn and Kathryn Rothfuss, passed away December 20, 2011 at the age of 84. Shirley was a loving mother, wife and great homemaker. She was very involved in church, raising her sons and spending time with family. She enjoyed winters in Jensen Beach, Florida. Shirley was preceded by her parents; husband, Norman; and sister, Betty Smitley. She is survived by her sons, William (Patty) and Glen (JoAnn) Sheffer; grandchildren, Amy (John) Bunting, Megan St. Pierre, Michael and Tommy Sheffer; great-grandson, Giovani Sheffer;brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Ken (Sue) Sheffer, Raymond Smitley and Leona Gill.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., January 7, 2012 at Christ United Methodist Church, 4428 Columbine Ave., Burton, MI 48529.
