Stephen M. Earley

Haslett, Michigan

Born July 22, 1955 in Lansing, Michigan to Robert and Jean Earley, passed away after a brave fight against cancer on August 5, 2012. Stephen graduated from Mountain Free High School in East Lansing in 1972. He was the Bakery Director for nearly 30 years at L & L Food Center. Stephen was a very smart and curious person, who loved to read, bike and enjoyed spending time on his computer. The family would like to thank Dr. Heather Laird-Fick for her professional and compassionate care of Stephen.

Stephen was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his children, Rebecca, Robert and Stephen; father, Robert Earley; grandmother, Gladys Earley; brothers, Rob (Susan), Chris (Marla) and Jim (Claire) Earley; sisters, Jean (Jack) Minnema and Kate (Randy Ballard) Daniels-Ballard and special friend, Tami Furney.

A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, August 12, from 1-3 pm at Lake Lansing Park North, Oak Knoll Pavilion, Haslett. Memorial contributions in Stephen’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1755 Abbey Rd., East Lansing, Michigan 48823.
