Steven C. Hubble, age 66, died October 1, 2014. He was born February 22, 1948 in Lansing, MI to Charles and Patricia (Kinney) Hubble.

Steve graduated from Perry High School in 1966. He was Superintendent at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens for 46 years. He enjoyed traveling and chased a lot of sunsets. Above all, he loved his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary (2002). Surviving are his wife of 12 years, Colleen; daughter, Sheri (Tony) Curkovic; son, Bob (Roxanne) Hubble; 16 grandchildren; 2 step-daughters, Dionne (Scott) Underhill, and Tina (Justin) Wichman; 2 step-sons, Tony (Shelley) Costello, and Joey (Julie) Costello; one brother, Paul (Teri Kent) Hubble; and one sister, Vicki (Joe) Schiebner.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 3, 2014, for Steve’s last MSU tailgate; the family invites you to wear MSU clothing. The celebration will be held at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Avenue, East Lansing, MI from 12:30 – 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM at the funeral home, with Harold DeMott officiating. Interment will be in Oak Plains Cemetery, Shaftsburg, MI.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1755 Abbey Road, East Lansing, MI 48823.
