Sylvia A. Fisher

Sylvia A. Fisher was born in Manchester England on December 2, 1942, the daughter of Leslie and Joan (Crosby) Bonney, and passed away peacefully on May 2, 2017 at the age of 74. She was a resident of the East Lansing, Okemos and Laingsburg area for 35 years. She enjoyed living in Florida for 15 years. Sylvia loved to travel, especially in Europe and Hawaii, taking cruises and Amtrak. She also enjoyed HGTV and British TV and was an avid reader. Her favorite pastime was cooking and preparing meals for her family and special gatherings. Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years, David; three sons, Mark, Michael (Janet) and Christopher (Alicia) Fisher; two grandchildren Ryan and Zachary Fisher; two brothers, Eric (Chris) and Philip (Lisa) Bonney; and three nephews, Ian, Paul and Stephen Bonney. Her Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Avenue, East Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The interment will take place at Glendale Cemetery, Okemos, MI.
