

He was a hard-working man, beloved for his gentle strength, generosity and good-natured spirit. He had a long career with PepsiCo as a salesman, obtained his real estate license, and he was recently employed with Tandem Transport.
Tom was a family man, who dedicated his life and work to his wife, children, and grandchildren, who lovingly called him “Papa” and “Grandpa CC”. He loved caring for his family; he enjoyed his home, neighbors, as well as landscaping and home improvements.
Mr. Christensen is survived by his wife of 37 years, Suzanne (Pabst), 2 sons, Mr. Jeremy Lee and wife Amy Christensen, and their children Caleb, Makiah, and Quinton (Jackson, MI), Mr. Joshua John, and wife Audrea and daughter Jaylen (Coats, NC), and daughter Ms. Jennifer Nicole and children Brooklyn and Landen (Haslett, MI), his mother, Eileen Christensen-Fortino, brother Dr. David Lee and wife Kate Christensen, sisters Mary Jo Stacks and husband Frederick Douglas, Jan LaRose and husband Chris, Joni Christensen-Burgess and husband Michael, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased in death by his father Ken Christensen, and sister, Kathleen Christensen.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 16, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 955 Alton Road, East Lansing, MI. Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 15, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave.
In lieu of flowers, contributions made to the Tom Christensen Grandchildren Trust, would be greatly appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
