After graduating high school, he served in the US Army. After his honorable discharge, he went to work for the next 30+ years in the automotive industry retiring as district manager in Mid-Michigan. Never one to sit still, he went back to work as manager of a dental supply company for 15 more years. As family meant the world to Thomas, after retiring a second time he spent much of his time visiting, helping and taking care of his children, grandchildren and family as a whole. Something else that Thomas spent his time on and enjoyed was coaching soccer teams around Okemos. These teams, the kids and their parents that he met, meant so much to him.
Thomas is preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Gail (Bagbey) Moffett and later his partner Sharon Bandlow-Reese.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristyn (Moffett) Sikkelee and son, Matthew Moffett; three grand children, Katelyn, Dylan and Kari Sikkelee; and a multitude of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Thank you so much to all of you. He loved you all so much!
A Celebration of Life will be held on Aug. 15, 2021 from 1-5 p.m. at The Red Ox Tavern - Patio, 3733 E. Walton Blvd., Auburn Hills, Mich.
