Thomas W. Parker, of East Lansing, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018. He was born June 28, 1934 in Charlotte, Michigan to Walter Parker and Maxine Warner Parker. Tom was married to Jean (Schoo) for 59 years, enjoying the love of music and travel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Phillip Parker; brother-in-law, Lewis Schoo and nephew, Douglas Schoo.
Surviving are his wife, Jean; nieces, Debra (Bud) Bachman, Denise (Richard) Greenleaf and Diana (Larry) Debnar and many great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at 10:00 a.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing Chapel, 1730 East Grand River Avenue.
Interment will follow at Rose Cemetery in Bath.
The family wishes to express their gratitude and thanks to the staff at Brookdale Meridian in Haslett and Hospice of Lansing.
