In addition to being a great wife, mother, and grandmother, Sue worked as an instructor and extension specialist at MSU. She also served as an administrative assistant to office staff for several organizations. Her career path included the Michigan Chamber of Commerce where she served as a receptionist for nine years.
Sue is preceded in death by her mother (Carrie Stephenson), her father (Leonard Stephenson) and brother (Larry Stephenson). She is survived by her husband (Robert Kuehne), two children (Kelley and Kevin Kuehne), two grandchildren (Maxwell and Madelyn Kuehne) and sister (Lynda Purcell). The family would like to thank StoryPoint and CorsoCare staff for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.
Beaver Island was special to Sue where she spent her summers beginning in 1970 through the summer of 2023. She had great neighbors and entertained many friends and family. She will be remembered for her perpetual smile, her friendly manner, and her forgiving nature.
Sue is now at home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
