She gave me some great advice once, and I’ll always remember it. She saw the relationship I was struggling in, and told me “Don’t let anyone take you away from YOU.”

Dear Caroline,

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your grandmother. She was a delightful person I've always respected. She had a tremendous influence on me back when we were in our 20's. She knew how to grab life by the tail and go with it.  She knew how to inspire others to do the same, including me. Nothing seemed impossible when we were at her house listening to her play her piano or telling us about the beauties of the universe. I still can't hear certain songs without thinking about her and wanting to dance!

At a time in my life when I had no idea what to do with myself and had no direction, she told me that I was ok because I was not forcing myself into a way of life I didn't feel called to do.  I did eventuallly find what I should be doing and have always loved teaching.  I still feel grateful for her guidance and support. 

My family sends their regards, as well.  My mother still considers her to be a local celebrity because she was so talented with astrology and tried to help so many people.

I am saddened to hear of Bernice's passing.  What an honor is was to have known Bernice!  She opened my eyes to this life and the life beyond many years ago, and taught me that every life has meaning.  Her talents and wisdom are truly amazing. Her music was beautiful, her stories mesmerizing.  She will be missed by all who knew her.  May her legacy live on through her accomplishments.

Dear Margie & David,
  I only have fond memories when I think of your Mother.  She was such a special person, and one that I enjoyed much over the years.  She was not only Mom's friend, but a friend to our whole family.  She tried to teach me how to play the piano, but had to give up because my hands were too small at the time.  I think she also knew that I couldn't practice as much as I maybe should have, but she was the epitome of patience with me!  Later, as an adult our relationship changed, and grew as we could discuss so many things of faith, religion, music and poetry, too.  Good woman.  I have often thought of her and, in remembering, have thanked God for the gift she was.  Know that she will be in my thoughts and prayers for a long time to come, as will you both.  God bless you!

I am sorry for your familys loss i am 1 of the cnas who took care of her @ the nursing home we are all gonna miss her asking if we have any chocolate when our birthdays are and her asking us how old we are bernice was a very special woman nand will be mised
