Cindy worked as a Homecare IS Analyst at Unity Point Methodist Hospital in Peoria for 25 years, where she was known as the “mother hen” and often referred to as “the brains of the operation.”
She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and will be remembered for her family dinners on Sunday. Cindy enjoyed Nascar and was the most passionate fan Joey Logano ever had. She also held a special die-hard fanaticism for the Chicago Bulls, for whom she would vigorously cheer through the tv set.
Cindy was truly a special woman who left her mark on every life she touched and she will remain forever in the hearts of those who love her; irreplaceable and unforgettable.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Tuesday, December 1st at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Burial will follow in Fondulac Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Monday, November 30, 2015 at the funeral home.
For respect of the wonderful care she received, the family suggests memorials to the Illinois Cancer Center on Rt. 91 in Peoria.
