He was born September 3, 1936 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to Eugene and Veronica (McKay) Nagy. They preceded him in death along with one brother and two sisters.
He married Dianne Huddlestun on April 18, 1964 in Plano, Illinois. She survives along with one son, Eugene (Jill) Nagy, one daughter, Victoria Nagy, and one grandson, Bradley Nagy all of Sevierville, Tennessee.
Ed was a United States Air Force veteran retiring in 1977. He then went to work and graduated from Wright State University in Ohio. After several job opportunities, he settled in East Peoria until his retirement.
One of his hobbies included raising canaries.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services at this time. Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
