Born April 4, 1921 in Oakville, Iowa to John and Lydia (Rein) Kuntz; she married Forrest F. Morgan on June 6, 1942 and he preceded her in death. She later married Robert Nickles and he also preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children, Patti Morgan and Gary Morgan, both of Peoria, Ron Morgan of East Peoria and Dennis Morgan of Hanna City; four grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; an infant son, Larry Dean Morgan; her daughter, Sharon Stevens; one sister, Louise Carter and four brothers, George C, William J, Clarence R, and Harvey E. Kuntz.
Emily was a seamstress and enjoyed sewing and gardening.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 18th at Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery in Burlington, Iowa. Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria assisted the family with cremation arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
