Emmie was born on September 8, 1925 in Springfield, IL , the daughter of Stanley M & Emma (Skonetski) Bart. She married Herbert Wilson.
She is survived by two sons, David (Sandra) Wilson of East Peoria, and Michael (Connie) Wilson of Edgewater, FL; one daughter Linda (Dale) Wexson of East Peoria; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one sister Nancy Hicks of East Peoria.
Emmie was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.
She worked for Caterpillar Inc. and then later worked for Pabst Brewing in Peoria Heights until they closed. Until her retirement in 2007 she worked in housekeeping for Paradise Casino.
Emmie was a member of Spring Bay Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday December 4, 2012 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Pastor Jack Thompson will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin.
