She was born Oct. 14, 1947 in Peoria to Jack and Lila (Beckett) Goodwin. She married Franklin Hammer in March of 1965 in Peoria. She was a devoted wife and mother to Franklin and her five children: Chris (Tim) Hearne of Washington, Candy Conn of Hersey, PA, Bill Hammer of Chicago, Frank (Kelli) Hammer II, of Washington, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one sister, Nancy Hatfield of Germantown Hills, and one brother, Cliff (Marsha) Goodwin of Lanark, IL.
She was a devoted, selfless, genuine, intelligent and compassionate person to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one infant daughter Kimberly Ann.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Jeannette’s Life will be Saturday Sep. 26, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 103 Doris St. Washington, IL. 61571.
Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
