Karen was married to Ronald W. McMullen, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Geoffrey Kirk, and two sisters, Kris Pogue and Denise Martin, both residing in Peoria. She also leaves behind her niece and nephew, Sara Martin and Jake Martin, and a great-nephew, Cy Martin.
Throughout her career, Karen worked in Accounts Receivable for IBM. She was known for her dedication to her family, always ready to lend a hand in times of need.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her honor.
