Kathern B Harper

She was born on July 14, 1924 in Matthews, MO., to Jefferson and Katie (Taylor) King. She married Dalles Dinkins on July 13, 1940 in Benton, MO. He preceded her in death on August 11, 1976. She then married Thomas Harper on May 27, 1978 in Peoria. Her parents, three brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death.

Surviving is her husband, Thomas Harper of Morton, two daughters, Katie (James) Westlake of Morton, IL and Joyce (Gary) Little of Scottsdale, AZ. Also surviving are six grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Bernice worked as a manager for Foster & Gallagher for 20 years retiring in 1975.

A private service will be held for the immediate family on Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Pastor Steve Hauter will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
