

He was born Oct. 10, 1963 in Peoria to Harold Dean and Darlene (Goad) Broy.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, one niece, and his brother-in-law, Jim Roby.
Survivors include his mother of East Peoria, one sister, Bronda Roby, one nephew, Alexander Roby of East Peoria, and several cousins, aunts and one uncle.
Ken was a professional drummer and a certified music therapist. He taught voice, piano, guitar, and percussion. His biggest achievement was helping an autistic boy learn to talk through his music.
He was a member of Northminster Presbyterian church.
The family would like to thank the many doctors that saw and helped Ken down through the years.
Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria is in charge of arrangements. Special family only services will be held.
Memorials may be made to the East Peoria High School Band Boosters where there will be a scholarship started in Ken’s name.
