Lois Jeanette English Baysingar

Lois Jeanette Baysingar, 76, of Morton, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 4:42 p.m. at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born December 4, 1939 in Marlboro County South Carolina, the daughter of Delton and Geraldine Wells English. She married Miles Baysingar in Dillon, SC on July 31, 1965.

Lois is survived by her husband of 50 years; three sons, Lex (Reba) Stewart of E. Peoria, Bryan Baysingar of Metamora, and Paul Baysingar of Lexington, IL; two brothers, Truett (Sandra) English of Bingham, SC and Mackie (Nancy) English of Dillon, SC; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, James Stewart; and one brother, Jackie English.

Lois was a member of East Peoria Boat Club, and Manning Chapel Methodist Church in Bingham, SC.

She loved to be outside; camping, boating, fishing and gardening.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Remmert Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Pastor Bob DeBolt will officiate.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.
