Meredith Ann Everett

She was born December 11, 1949 in Peoria, the daughter of Vernon and Dorothy Knell Turner. She married David Everett August 27, 1967.

Meredith is survived by her husband of 49 years; one daughter, Michelle (Dale) Gillick; one son, Robbie (Tabitha Troup) Everett both of Creve Coeur; two granddaughters, Laura Everett and Jadelyn Everett; three grandsons, David Strickfaden, Joey Gillick, and Chris Gillick, all of Creve Coeur; one great-grandson, Carlos Flores; three sisters, Rose (Dave) Smith of Creve Coeur, Dorothy Turner of Peoria, and Josephine Turner of Urbana; one brother, Wayne (Beth) Turner of Champaign.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and two sisters; one son, David; two daughters, Lori and Melissa Everett; and one grandson, Ruben Flores.

She worked in housekeeping at Rogy’s Day Care.

She loved her family very much. She would do anything for her grandchildren.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A Celebration of life will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, November 18, 2016 at Remmert Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

Memorials may be made to a fund for her grandchildren.
