Nancy Goodwin Crawford

East Peoria – Nancy Goodwin Crawford, 84, of East Peoria, passed away at 8:40 PM on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Morton Villa in Morton, IL. She was born in Tallula, IL on March 10, 1929 to Albert Nance and May Marsley Goodwin. She married Jack Edward Crawford on Nov. 11, 1948. He preceded her in death on October 27, 2002 in East Peoria. She was also preceded by her Parents, one Brother Charles Goodwin, and one Grandson Justin Nance McMullen.

Nancy is survived by two Daughters Suzi Lynn McMullen of East Peoria and Holly Ann (Mark) Gardner of Lindenhurst, IL; two Sons John “Toby” (Lisa) Crawford of Morton and Scott (Linda) Crawford of Indianapolis, IN; 13 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren; one Sister Cara Zermuehlen of Hawthorn Woods, IL and her Sister-in-Law Marilyn O’Connor of Morton, IL.

She had been a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Creve Couer. Nancy was an artist and belonged to the Heart of Illinois Decorative Artists, the Illinois Art League and the National Society of Decorative Artists.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A Memorial Service will be held at noon on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Creve Couer. Rev. Dwight Winnett will officiate. Friends may call upon the family at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Memorials may be made to her church.
