Born August 12, 1932 in Peoria to Joseph C. and Marie E. Mear; she married Bob Jacobs on June 23, 1951 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on July 30, 2018. Also preceding in death were her parents; grandson, Joseph Miller and four siblings.
Surviving are four children, David (Lynne) Jacobs, Debbie (Jim) Miller, James Jacobs, and Michael (Jianqun) Jacobs; six grandchildren; Josh (Rebecca) Miller, Dan Miller, Michelle (Brian) Currier, Matt (Gabriella) Jacobs, Jeremiah Jacobs, David (Cara) Jacobs; fourteen great-grandchildren, Andrew, Lucas, Travis, Katelyn, Savanna, Ella, Caleb, Daniel, Logan, Alyssa, Lainey, Liam, Leonardo and Ulisse.
She loved the Lord with all her heart, as well as her family. She loved spending time with her family and friends and would do anything for anyone. She was an active member of church all of her life and most recently attended Bayview Baptist Church.
Pat’s funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria with Pastor Brian Currier, her grandson-in-law officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
Memorials are suggested to Bayview Baptist Church in East Peoria.
