Ralph H. Durr

Ralph H. Durr,89, of East Peoria, Illinois passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 at O.S.F. Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He was born May 23, 1925 in Peoria, IL to Bud and Margaret Durr. Ralph married Dorothy Mae Hall on April 5, 1946 in Peoria, Illinois. She preceded him in death.

Ralph retired from Cilco as a General Mechanic in 1985.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during WWII in the South Pacific. Ralph was a member of AMVETS Post 64 in Peoria, IL, American Legion Post 983 in East Peoria, IL, and the Early Ford V-8 Club of Central Illinois.

Surviving are his two children; Ralph (Rita) Durr, of Glasford, IL, Wanda (Jerry) Hale of Green Valley, IL; five grandchildren, Dustin (Kristol) Durr of Washington, IL, Tracey (Keith) Reimer of Glasford, IL, Elaine Durr of Burlington, NC, Arlo (Amanda) Hale of Delavan, IL and J.B. (Raegan) Hale of Green Valley, IL; ten great grandchildren, Alexis Durr, Paige Durr, Shay Hale, Odysseus Hale, Corbin Kentner, McKenna Kentner, Kingston Kentner, Anabelle Reimer, Knox Reimer, and Sawyer Reimer. Ralph was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
