

He was born June 26, 1945, to Edmund J. and Anna J. (Nauman) Grebner. He married Marceline Goodin on December 12, 1970, in Peoria. She preceded him in death on May 31, 2018.
Surviving are his children, Lola (Rod) McKinley, Ralph Grebner, II, and Jacob Grebner; grandchildren, Gabriel (Autumn) McKinley, Logan McKinley, and Ariana, and Jillian Grebner; two great-grandsons; sister, Rosemary (Larry) Christ, brothers, James (Karen) Grebner, and William (Mary Jo) Grebner.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lucille Grebner, Helen Best, and Barbara Abel; and brothers, Martin, and Harlan Grebner.
Ralph was a USAF Veteran serving during the Vietnam Conflict, and a member of American Legion Post 89. He retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company in 2009 with 45 years of service as an Electrician. He was a Chicago Bears fan, and loved all kinds of football. He was a quilter, who made and sold many lawn chairs. He enjoyed gardening, and was a friend to everyone.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, from 5-7PM, at Remmert Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at 10AM. Burial will follow at Fondulac Cemetery with military honors. Memorials may be made to the American Legion.
